Welcome
We are a new non-profit organization based in central Maryland founded in November of 2011 to assist our local special needs, disabled and service dog communities. In December we incorporated and filed our 501c3 and is still pending IRS approval so until it is donations are not tax deductible. We expect approval around February
We have three primary areas of concentration. One of those areas is the much overlooked support and advocacy needs of our service dog community, the disabled with equipment and engineering needs and we are also active with the deaf community. Our website is in the early stages of development and we welcome you to look around and please offer any suggestions you may have as we feel it is a work in progress. Any donations are very much needed as well as appreciated. We will If there is a specific area we serve in that you would like your donation to go to please let us know when making the donation. All proceeds from any fundraiser products on our site will go to support the disabled or other disability support organizations in our community
We also are a grass roots advocacy group. We provide information with regards to state and federal laws pertaining to service dogs, public access, the ADA, equipment safety requirements, other support organizations and other services available in our community.
